Erectile dysfunction impacts the majority of men and is a common issue that affects many men at some point in their lives, you might not have had severe problems with ED, however many men have. Personally I have had some occasions when anxiety or stress and low levels of testosterone affected me. And that is what started me on this path of research and study to help my family and friend with. I work online and to many times I spend to many hours working with out moving away from the computer to eat or go to the bathroom. Iβm sure that you get caught up in the same circle. I have friends and readers that constantly ask me questions about erectile dysfunction. Iβm perfectly happy to share my knowledge and the knowledge that other Doctor friends have shared with me. In this case Iβm reading the book called βTransform your health, transform your lifeβ by David W. Sloan. Iβm going to share a section of the book that caught my attention right away and motivated me to share with you this section with his permission.
In the section A⦠for Activity & Erectile Dysfunction
Doctor Sloan discusses how you can grow new brain cells, using exercises to get rid of gray matter and mentions ED later. You will find a whole 5 part series on the effects of exercise on my website. However, for this post Iβm concentrating on erectile dysfunction the section in Dr Sloanβs book (page 62) βExercise properly can help men and women build natural testosterone in the bodyβ
βIn my practice (Dr Sloanβs), I treat a lot of patients struggling with hormone imbalances. Often times, I work with men to help them to naturally build testosterone, which is vital for sex drive or libido, preventing erectile dysfunction (ED), improving mood, muscle strength, and motivation. The mistake that many men over forty make is that they will do thirty minutes or so of cardio or so and then hit the weights. Unfortunately, anything over five minutes or so of cardio will somewhat reduce or shut off testosterone production completely.
When weightlifting follows the cardio, during which the build of testosterone is normally produced, it is of little benefit.β << Did you get that?
I will continue the section of this chapter βThe solution is to do your weights one day and cardio the next. You get good, natural testosterone production on your anaerobic, strength training day and it provides you a day in between the weights for you to recover. O that recovery day, you can do all the aerobic or cardio exercise you like.β
He goes on to recommend a form of exercise that I have recommended many time over and that is the mini trampoline. Dr Sloan recommends walking, HITT and many others, however, and I have to agree that the mini trampoline provides the most bang for your buck. I use mine for 10 minute intervals, during my hourly brakes from work. I get up off my seat in front of the computer and go outside or inside depending on the weather and jump for 10 minutes. It has helped me build muscle and keeps my oxygen levels at optimum. Iβll provide you with a link on the one that I and my wife like the best. And we have purchase our own to avoid any influences from manufactures, tried many brands and sizes. Click here to view details of the brand and model of the trampoline that I recommend.
Exercise to prevent erectile dysfunction
Using the mini trampoline provides an excellent source of cardio, and is about the best exercise for improving lymphatic drainage and circulation. It strengthens, conditions, and tones the legs, thighs, buttocks and ABS.
